Part 3: Terminal
The terminal allows you to control your positions, view your account history, schedule alerts, send and receive emails, view the Metaquotes library, monitor indicators, scripts and robots, and view the system log. .
Note that not all of these features may be available or vary slightly; it depends on the software version and your broker.
The Trading Tab
This tab contains information about the current status of your trading account, specifically pending orders and pending orders.
Order: the ticket number of the order
Execution date: opening time of the order
Transaction: the type: Buy, Sell and Sell Stop, Buy Limit, Buy Stop & Buy Limit
Lots: the number of lots of the order
Symbol: the relevant currency pair
Price: the opening price of the order
S / L: The level of Stop Loss (0 if none)
T / P: Take Profit level (0 if none)
Price: the current price of the pair
Commission: the commission charged by the broker for this transaction
Exchange: value of the rollover (or swap) for the relevant position
Comments: comment you added
The terminal also allows you to manage your trading activity. You can via the context menu perform the following actions:
• Open a position
• Close a position
• Change or delete a pending order
• Position a trailing stop
• See profits as pips or currency
• Show or hide some columns
• Auto arrange columns
The History Tab
The history of all trades performed is available from this tab. The history is displayed with the same columns as the terminal. The History tab also displays several information about your closed positions.
The context menu allows you to define the summary of the history:
Last three months
Save a simple report
Save a detailed report
Here is an example of an HTML report of your history that you can generate.
